The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met April 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Bessie Mitchell House at the Botanical Gardens, 411 Ball Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following
members present, to -wit:

The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m.
A moment of silence was observed.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Mark Assaad and seconded by Terry Musar to approve the March 21, 2019
minutes. Motion passed 7-0.

New Business
• Consider approval of the following renewal adopt -an -area agreements:
1. Parker Family for College Street from Highway 114 to Main Street

A motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Dave Buhr to approve the renewal Adopt -
An -Area agreements. Motion passed 7-0.

Presentation:
Kevin Mitchell & Chris Smith gave a tour of the Botanical Gardens, that included the greenhouse, new
deck, plants, parking lot and Bessie Mitchell House to the Board.

Student Report — Annemarie Martin gave a report on:
• Varsity baseball, softball and tennis. Two girls made it to state for tennis.
• Kindness Club
• Basketball game with Police Department
• VAST Program
• Rhyan's Good Day Foundation Scholarship
GCISD Report — no report given.
Adjourn
A motion was made by Mark Assaad and seconded by John Dalri to adjourn the meeting at 6:36 p.m.
Motion passed 7-0.
