This letter confirms on April 15, 2019 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA19-34 for the property addressed 513 East Texas Street, Block 104, Lot 3A,
College Heights Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance
91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Install a 36" high wood picket fence in the front yard of the house, to the left of the
entrance sidewalk, with one 36" wide passage gate; with the following details:
a. All pickets to be placed with spacing of a full picket width, providing 50% visibility
through fence;
b. Pickets to be mounted on wood rails supported on wood posts;
c. Fence to be painted white;
as per the attached plan and photo example with the condition a permit be obtained from
the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is i is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at W.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
