The foam insulation is installed correctly without any voids, breaks, or discrepancies. The hvac unit in the attic is electric. The duct leakage test is exempt as all of the duct runs are within conditioned space and the home is code only. Air Barrier and Insulation Inspection Items Must Correct I Verified N/A 1.1 A continuous air barrier shall be installed in the building envelope. 1.2 The exterior thermal envelope contains a continuous air barrier. 1.3 Breaks or joint in the air barrier shall be sealed. 1.4 Air-permeable insulation shall not be used as a sealing material. 2.cellln Attic 2.1 Air barrier in any dropped ceilin /soff it shall be aligned with the insulation and any gaps in the air barrier sealed. _ 2.2 Access openings,drop down stair or knee wall doors to unconditioned spaces shall be sealed. 2.3 The insulation in any dropped ceiling/soffit shall be aligned with the air barrier, 3.Walls 3.1 The junction of the foundation and sill plate shall be sealed. 3.2 The junction of the top plate and the top of exterior walls shall be sealed. r- 3.3 Knee walls shall be sealed. i- 3.4 Cavities within corners and headers of frame walls shall be insulated by completely filling the cavity with a material r havin a thermal resistance of R-3 per inch minimum. 3.5 Exterior thermal envelope insulation for framed walls shall be installed in substantial contact and continuous r alignment with the air barrier. 4.Windows and Doors 4.1 The space between window/doorjambs and framing and skylights and framing shall be sealed.
