Transmittal Page 1/5 ECS Southwest, LLP 63:1045 16 Grapevine Station North-Phase 1 Wednesday 05/01/2019 Project No. Report No. Day & DateProject 4050 Sandshell Drive, Suite 500 Fort Worth, TX 76137 (682) 350-2250 [Phone] (817) 847-8616 [Fax] FIELD REPORT 2.88 The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe the placement of 4000 psi concrete for Lot 2R Storm Drain Line 6 Y-Inlet Aprons at STA 0+67 and STA 0+00, and Storm Drain Line 7 Y-Inlet Walls at STA 0+93 and STA 1+86. Please see the attached sketch. The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3-5 inches, air content of 3-6 %, batch to placement time of 90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 55-90 degrees Fahrenheit. Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications with regard to temperature, air content, and batch to placement time. THE SLUMP WAS HIGHER THAN THE DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS. The superintendent was informed of the high slump. One set of five laboratory cured concrete cylinders were cast for compressive strength testing in our laboratory.
