NEW BUSINESS
BBA 93-09 ED AND MARTHA LUBE
An application was submitted to the Department of Community Development by Edward Lube
representing Edmar Enterprises, Inc. for the structure located at 224 East College Street. This
house was built sometime between 1892 and 1896. When the building was renovated in 1986,
the owner paid special attention to detail to keep the existing front door in tact. They believe
that the door may be the original to the house. We believe if the door were to be placed with
a new door meeting the Code, some of the historical significance of the building will be lost.
They will change the swing of the door to comply with Section 3304(b) of the Code. a
Greg Wheeler, Building Official explained the case to the Board.
