HomeMy WebLinkAbout1994-06-13SUPPLEMENTAL CORRECTIVE AGENDA THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY DECLARE AN EMERGENCY AND THAT A URGENT PUBLIC NECESSITY EXIST TO CORRECT A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR THAT WAS REASONABLY UNFORESEEABLE WHICH REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ACTION, TO -WIT: TITLE TO THE AGENDA IS HEREBY CORRECTED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: "AGENDA CITY OF GRAPEVINE BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING MONDAY, JUNE 13, 1994, AT 6:30 P.M. 307 WEST DALLAS ROAD, ROOM #205 GRAPEVINE, TEXAS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S., AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATIVE, REGULAR SESSION, THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING SUPPLEMENTAL CORRECTIVE AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE, 1994 AT 4:00 P.M. GRIEG WZERLER BUILDI G FFICIAL STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Building Board of Appeals for the City of Grapevine, met in regular session, Monday, June 13, 1994, at 6:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers, Room #205, 307 West Dallas Road, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present: Joe Lipscomb Chairman Art Gordon Member Greg Czapanskiy Member Dennis Roberts Member constituting a quorum. Also present was Council Representative, Ted Ware and the following City Staff: Greg Wheeler Building Official Paula Pennington Secretary CALL TO ORDER Chairman Joe Lipscomb called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. NEW BUSINESS BBA 94-07 DAVE RITZ THE RITZ COMPANY An application was submitted to the Department of Community Development by David Ritz representing The Ritz Company for the structure located at 3522 Emerald Court. The fence was built on the front building line which is the limit set for the required front yard. However, the dwelling sits back from the front building line making the established front yard deeper in the depth than the required front yard. Greg Wheeler, Building Official explained the case to the Board. With no one else to speak for or against the request, Art Gordon made a motion to close the public hearing. Dennis Roberts seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Lipscomb, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts Nays: None Absent: None Greg Czapanskiy then made a motion to approve the variance as requested, Art Gordon seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Lipscomb, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts Nays: None Absent: None BBA 94-08 STAN COWAN, MESA DESIGN GROUP, INC. An application was submitted to the Department of Community Development by Stan Cowan, Mesa Design Group, Inc. representing Joe L. Wright, Wright Development Company for the proposed subdivision entry fence system and column structures located on Lot 46, Block 1, and Lot 1, Block 12, street addressed as 2714 and 2716 Cobblestone Drive. Pickering Farm, Section I Addition is located west of Hidden Lakes Subdivision acres Silvercrest Drive. Greg Wheeler, Building Official explained the case the request. With no one else to speak for or against the request, Dennis Roberts made a motion to close the public hearing, Greg Czapanskiy seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Lipscomb, Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts Nays: None Absent: None Art Gordon then a motion approve the variance, Dennis Roberts seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Gordon, Czapanskiy, Roberts Nays: None Abstain: Joe Lipscomb ADJOURNMENT With no further discussion, Greg Czapanskiy made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Dennis Roberts seconded the motion which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Nays: Absent The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
