Re: REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE OF HEARING
Current Hearing Date: July 20, 2010
AMC Theatre CUP /application
NEW Date Requested: August '17, 2010
Dear Mr. Rumbelow:
AMC Theatres hereby.requests that the City Council and the Planning and Zoning
Commission continue the hearing on AMC's CUP application currently scheduled for
}"( July 20, 2010 to the meeting of August 17, 2010.
This request is made so that AMC Theatres can provide details and address questions
on the part of the City Council and staff. If a fuller understanding of AMC Theatre's .
plans isn't fully addressed by the August 171h City Council and Planning and Zoning
Commission meeting, then AMC Theatres will request a further continuance until City
Council and staff members are addressed. In are effort to keep the project on schedule,
AMC will put up the TABC Posting Notice in the near future to start that time period
running. We understand that the City must approve the CUP application before AMC can
proceed with the TABC application.
We appreciate your consideration and approval of this request as it is in the best
interests of the applicant and the City. Should you have any questions or need
additional information, please contact me at 800-480-2545. Mr. Dahlstrom, AMC's local
counsel, will be present at the hearing to make the request for the continuance as well.
Sincerely,
AllG
