Remove existing curb and pavement to a depth of 6 inches. Replace with at least 4 inches of compacted crushed aggregate (or an approved select fill material), or more if necessary in order to sustain a stable subgrade. Excavate the area to a depth of 2 inches below the existing concrete slab. Subgrade depth will be at least 12 inched in depth below the existing concrete surface elevation.
