Primarily due to weather (rain being the major factor) and Fairway Drive closure for the first
three quarters. Russell reported that the last quarter should be much better helping to rebound
from the previous three quarters. Russell stated that Merlin would deep tine aericfy

through Corp of Engineers requirements. Russell reported that there was some changes to the
roofline being considered The basic clubhouse design as original presented is pretty much the
same. Gary Davis asked about the costs being higher than expected Russell replied that
construction costs continue to rise, so the quicker we can get started, the more beneficial it is to
the project. The time frame to start is still expected to be late October.
Russell recognized the GHS Girls Golf Team for their third straight State Title.
ITEM 6- Bunker Discussion (Gary Davis)
Gary Davis opened discussion regarding liner exposer in the bunkers. His comment of what
could be done about players hitting the liner. Gary wanted to know if it was a design problem.
Russell and Merlin replied that a better job needs to be done in maintaining the proper depth in
the bunkers and that additional sand was probably needed in several of the bunkers in question.
ITEM 7- Beverage Cart Discussion (Gary Davisl

of cart service available. It was commented that there was typically only one and maybe two on
the weekends. Tom Cherry commented about the need for water for the health ofthe golfers

a negative impact on the bottom line. Russell explained that there was a 20% discount already in
place for Grapevine residents and the annual fee again was never put in place for everyone.
Paul Slechta commented that if there was a discount to be put in place on the annual that he
would be in favor ofa discount for the resident's annual fee.
