Sampling in accordance with (iaw) ASTM C172 except that samples may have been taken from the beginning of the load after a minimum discharge of approximately one cubic yard.
Cylinder molding and laboratory curing iaw ASTM C31, compressive strength test and and break type iaw ASTM C39, slump iaw C143, air content iaw ASTM C173 (V) or C231 (P),
temperature iaw ASTM C1064, and unit weight iaw ASTM C138. Cylinders denoted with Cap Type U are tested using unbonded caps iaw ASTM C1231, cylinders denoted with Cap
Type B are tested using bonded caps iaw ASTM C617, and cylinders denoted with Cap Type N (none) meet the planeness requirements of ASTM C39 and are tested without caps.
Break Types are classified as: Type 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 iaw C39.
