This letter confirms on June 28, 2019 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA19-76 for the Moore House property addressed 619 South Church Street,
legally described as Block 14, Lot 3C & 6A, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness-
1 . Install new concrete plaza in rear yard of house as an extension of the Ted R. Ware
Plaza at 627 South Church Street; plaza to be faced with brick pavers to match the
originals existing in the Ted R. Ware plaza
2. Install a new 6' high wood privacy fence along the north property line of the house;
with front section to be 50% opening pickets and three feet high;
as per the attached plan with the condition permit(s) be obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.

This letter confirms on February 6, 2020 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA19-76(b) for the Moore House property addressed 619 South Church
Street, legally described as Block 14, Lot 3C & 6A, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Install approximately 75 linear feet of wood picket fence across the front yard of the
house using pressure treated wood: fence to be supported on 4" x 4" wood posts,
using 2" x 4" wood rails with a 2" x 6" wood top board and 1" x 4" wood pickets, with
top cut at a 45 degree angle;
2. Repair the existing wood windows of the house, replacing broken glass and re -glazing
as needed,
3. Repair or replace rotted or deteriorated siding and wood trim as needed;
4. Replace the existing 2' - 8" rear door with new 36" wide wood egress door, opening
outward onto the rear wood landing;
5. Repaint the house using Sherwin Williams #SW 7005 "Pure white" paint color;
as per the attached plan, specifications and paint colors with the condition a permit be
obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit ® / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
