This letter confirms on July 15, 2019 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA19-73 for the property addressed 214 East College Street, legally
described as Block 15, Lot 3&4B, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on
this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Remove existing roof shingles from house and replace with new GAF Timberline
High Definition roof shingles in "Pewter Grey" color;
2. Install new rear wood door to house using Buffelen #7523 in Furr wood;
3. Install new front door frame with sidelights to include: new Craftsman -style wood
door - Buffelen #7523; and two wood side light panels - Buffelen #7502;
as per the attached photos and specifications with the condition a permit be obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
