This letter confirms on August 7, 2019 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA19-88 for the property addressed 322 East College Street, legally
described as Block 22, Lot 2R, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on this
Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Construct a view outdoor fireplace with a pavestone terrace in the side yard of the
existing house, 25' from the side property line and 25' from the house as follows:
a. Fireplace island to be 12' wide x 3' deep x 3' high;
b. Firebox to be a Mason-Lite lightweight masonry fireplace unit:
c. Exterior material of fireplace island is to be red brick, matching the brick of the
original house with Leuder stone top accents;
d. Pavestone terrace to be 12' wide x 12' deep and located in front of the fireplace
front opening;
as per the attached plans, photos and specifications with the condition a permit be obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Cer-.wficate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
