Secretary Perkins noted the Dallas Museum of Art's printed information on becoming a
member is a much easier read to understand, our levels are difficult to distinguish
between. Council Liaison O'Dell noted the term Patron being preferable with levels such
as Spirit Patron, Trailblazer Patrons.
Secretary Perkins' study showed 13 people are responsible for the bulk of the
Foundation's revenue. Determining the majority of funds from Sponsors, Council
Liaison O'Dell said the Sponsor's names and logos was well received. Secretary
Perkins noted Sponsor's signs on wagons in Christmas parade, why not have top
Sponsors/Donors riding in the wagons - Sponsors on Board. Secretary Perkins stated
the change in limiting donations for tax deductions had not been good, perhaps they
could ignite some new memberships with camp fire events at the Farm. Several
concepts were discussed for increasing membership, Secretary Perkins questioned
getting a flyer to the right people, Council Liaison O'Dell said social media was the key
and to forward anything to her and she would forward on to the Grapevine Historical
Society.
