CALL TO ORDER: 4:30 p.m. — Grapevine Housing Authority Office
REGULAR MEETING:
CITIZEN COMMENTS
Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of
Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by
completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. A
member of the public may address the Board of Commissioners regarding an
item on the agenda either before or during the Board's consideration of the
item, upon being recognized by the Chair of the Board or upon the consent of
the Board. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is
restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments.

NEW BUSINESS
3. Consideration of the minutes from the November 21, 2019 meeting and take
any necessary action.
4. Consideration and approval of Resolution No. 20-01 approving the Balance
on the uncollectable accounts to be a Write-off to Collection Losses.
5. Consideration and acceptance of the October and November 2019 monthly
financial statements and take any necessary action.
6. Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board on the
January 7, 2020 meeting.

In accordance with the Open Meeting Law, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, 1

The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority held a Regular Session on this the 23rd day of
January 2020 in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, with the following members present to
wit:

Chairperson Traeger called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
Item #2 Report of the Executive Director (informational Only)
A. Rent Delinquency and Information Sheet
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders
and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through January 20, 2020.
B. Capital Funds Report and Work in Progress
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects.
C. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues
The water distribution system project started January 6, 2020. They estimate it will take 6-8 weeks to
complete.
The annual Elks Lodge Valentine's Day dinner for 25 of the senior residents is scheduled for February 4,
2020.
D. Minutes from the Resident Advisory Meetings held January 17, 2020
The minutes from the January 17, 2020, Resident Advisory Board meeting were presented to the Board.
E. Quarterly Investment Report for Quarter 4 2019.
The Executive Director presented the Quarterly Investment Report to the Board of Commissioners.

Item #3 - Consideration of the minutes from the November 21, 2019 meeting and take any necessa[y action.
The Board was provided the minutes from the November 21, 2019 meeting for approval.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to accept the November 21, 2019 minutes as
presented.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu
Nays: None
Motion passed
Item #4 - Approval of Resolution No. 20-01, authorizina the Executive Director to direct Allen Cornell, CPA to write off
the accounts receivable balance owing of $16,331.08.
The Board was presented with the spreadsheet of the amounts owed Grapevine Housing Authority by former
residents.
Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to approve the Executive Director to
direct Allen Cornell, CPA to write off the accounts receivable balance owing of $16,331.08
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu
Nays: None
Motion passed
Item # 5 - Consideration and acceptance of the October and November 2019 month v financial statements and take
any necessary action.
The Board was presented with an electronic copy of the October and November 2019 financial statements.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to accept the October and November 2019
financial statements.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu
Nays: None

Item # 6 - Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board_ on the January 7, 2020 meeting.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu updated the Board on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board meeting that was held
January 7, 2020. Eileen Hinson the Active Adult Supervisor is retiring the end of January.
No action taken
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded that the meeting be adjourned.

Nays: None
Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 4:48 p.m.
