Public Hearing to obtain input from the city residents in reference to the changes to the Dwelling Lease, Addendurns and Policies. CALL TO ORDER: REGULAR ULAF MEETING: CITIZEN COMMENTS . Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item b completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. Consideration and approval of Resolution tion No. 20-02 approving and accepting the changes to the Dwelling Lease, Addendurns and Policies. State of Texas County of Tarrant City of Grapevine The Board Of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority held a public hearing and then met in Regular Session on this the 27th day of February 2020 in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, with the following members present to wit - Linda Troeger Chair Bonnie McHugh Vice -Chair Karen Rice Finance Officer Ethel Anderson Resident Commissioner Teri Rhodes -Cantu Commissioner Constituting a quorum, with the following also present: Greg Jordan CFO City of Grapevine Jane Everett Executive Director Vince Sims NBC5 PUBLIC HEARIN Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Item #1 Public Hearing to obtain input from the city residents in reference to the changes to the Dwelling Lease, Addendums and Policies. No citizen comments. Public Hearing closed 430 REGULAR MEETING — CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4-30 p.m. CITIZENS COMMENTS Item #2 No Citizen comments, Item #3 Reoort of the Executive Director (informational C rely A. Rent Delinguency and Information Sheet The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through February 27, 2020. B. Capital Funds Regort and Work in Progress The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects. The 2017 Capital Fund money has been fully spent and now closed. C. Report of Public Housing Activi!Y and Issues The water distribution system newly installed water line has passed inspection, the line may be buried. The contractor still needs to finish the water line into the office, install freezeless yard hydrants (in place of hose bids), and clean up the lawn around the property. The contractor damaged the french drain and will repair it. We have started seeing a few of our residents taking payday loans against their social security check. D. Minutes from the Resident Acfviso!y Meetings held Febrqga-21, 2020 The minutes from the February 21, 2020, Resident Advisory Board meeting were presented to the Board. NEW BUS�NESS Item #4 - Consideration of the minutes from the January 23,2020 meeting and take any necessary action. The Board was provided the minutes from the January 23, 2020 meeting for approval. Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to accept the January 23, 2020 minutes as presented. Ayes: Traeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu Nays: None Motion passed Item #5 — Consideration and avoroval of Resolution No. 20-02. to adopt the channel to the Dwelling Lease, Addendums and Policies. The Board was presented with electronic changes to the Dwelling Lease, Addendums and Policies. Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded to approve Resolution 20-02 as amended to adopt the revised Dwelling Lease, Addendums and Policies. Ayes: Traeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu Nays: None Motion passed ADJOURNMENT Commissioner RhodeS-C2ntu moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Ayes- Traeger, McHugh, Rice, Anderson & Rhodes -Cantu Nays: None Motion passed.
