ZONING APPLICATION Z89-16-FRED JOYCE-MARY STONE MYERS ENTERPRISES The first item for the Commission to consider and make a recommendation to the City Council was Z89-16 submitted by Fred Joyce Mary Myers Enterprises, Inc. requesting rezoning of approximately 26.81 acres from "R-20", Single-Family Zoning District Regulations to "R-12.5", Single-Family Zoning District Regulations. Mr. H.T. Hardy advised that the request would need to be continued to the July 17, 1990, Joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting as City Staff had failed to properly notify four (4) contiguous property owners on W. T. Parr Road. The subject property is located north of Barberry Road and Stonewood Phase I, south of Parr Park, east of Druid Hills and west of W. T. Parr Road. Mr. Hardy also reported that the applicant had submitted a letter requesting the public hearing be tabled to the July 17#1 1990, meeting to allow the applicant to address certain concerns of the surrounding property owners. City Attorney John Boyle, Jr. noted that it would not be necessary to re-advertise the public hearing if it was determined to recess the public hearing to a date certain, but the property notice should be given to all property owners within the 200 feet of the tract. Commission Member Martin's motion and Commissioner Meyer's second was to recess the public hearing to the July 17, 1990, meting. The prevailing vote was as follows: Ayes: Cook, Oliver, Martin, Meyer, Atchley, Hinson and Palpant Nays: None No further action on Zoning Application Z89-16 was necessary. *S-40T SE 0-4UT -e E * 6 SUT • UOD 'SUOT LI-CnbO-d -40TJ4ST(I ATTuled PO-4-4-eTd bu-caq s-c pue SG-T;D • .
