Goals for Fiscal Year 1992-1993 .

CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special
Session on this the 16th day of April, 1992 at 6:00 p.m. in the
DuPont Suite, Room 920, East Wing of the DFW Airport Hilton
Executive Conference Center with the following members present
to-wit:
William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Sharron Spencer Council Member
Gil Traverse Council Member
Jerry L. Pittman Council Member
Will Wickman Council Member
constituting a quorum, with Council Member C. Shane Wilbanks '
absent, with the following members of the City Staff:
Mark S. Watson City Manager
Trent Petty Assistant City Manager
. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
WORKSHOP
City Manager Marks S. Watson led the City Council in discussion of
the following topics: (1) overall financial condition of the City
and the FY93 budget relative to water rates, tax rates, refuse
rates, and the Golf Course Enterprise fund; (2) City Council
Policy and future action relative to a City Hall project,
Convention & Visitors Bureau/Heritage Foundation relative to
in-kind manhours by the City for festivals, and Concourse
improvements and remodeling; (3) organizational interests relative
to the Police Department, Library, and the City owned 12 acres
located by the Grapevine Convention Center; and (4) Capital
Projects relative to the Heritage Center, Liberty Park Plaza, and
antique lighting on Main Street.
There was no action taken by the City Council.
ADJOURNMENT
Council Member Pittman, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ware, made a
motion to adjourn at 9: 10 p.m. The motion prevailed by the
following vote:
04/16/92
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman
Nays: None
Absent: Wilbanks
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS on this the 5th day of MaY , 1992.
