� Mayor Pro Tem Ware called the special budget meeting to order at

6 : 15 p.m.

Council Member Wickman delivered the Invocation. �

ITEM l . WORKSHOP PROPOSED 1990-91 BUDGET �
� �
The budget workshop discussion continued with Assistant to the
' City Manager Mildred Ellis-Farmer introducing representatives
� c mmunit or anizations to resent a brief overview �
; from various o y g p
' of their operations. Those represented were Tarrant County �
j Council on Alcohol & Drugs, Community Chemical Awareness Program,
i Tarrant County Women' s Center, G.R.A.C.E. , Women' s Haven, and the
Grapvine Chamber of Commerce. Following discussion of the
I' amounts budgeted, it was the consensus of the Council to adjust
'
the budgeted amounts to include the Women' s Haven in the amount
of $1 ,500 . 00 , increase funding to G.R.A.C.E. up to $10, 000 . 00, �
' decrease funding to the Community Chemical Awarenes Program to
$5, 000 . 00 and eliminate the $25, 000 . 00 funded to the Grapevine �
' Chamber of Commerce. �

Briefings continued relative to the City Secretary, Personnel, �
Finance, City Manager, Mayor/Council and General Administration �
Services budgets. Discussion ensued relative to the proposed car �
a allowance for the City Council. It was determined the fund would �
; �m be utilized by the Council for travel expenses related to City �
business, business lunches, and other out of pocket expenses �
related to City business. Therefore, it was the consensus of �
; the City Council that the car allowance fund be redesignated as �
reimbursable expenses. �'',

ADJOURNMENT �
�
Council Member Wickman, seconded by Council Member Traverse, made �
a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8 : 10 p.m. The motion €
prevailed by the following vote: �
Ayes: Tate, Ware, Spencer, Wilbanks, Traverse, Pittman & Wickman �
