NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF � GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: ,*;=,,,s Section 1. That all the matters stated in the preamble of this Ordinance are true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this Ordinance as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. Within an area owned by the City as a public street right-of-way a 40' wide public street right-of-way between Lot 1, Block 1, Elliott's Hardware Addition and Lot 1, Block 1, Grapevine Shopping Center from Northwest Highway (BUS 114L), north approximately 282.7 feet, as shown in Exhibit "A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby abandoned and vacated for public street right-of-way uses and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated insofar as all public street right-of-way right, title and interest in and to said public street right-of way is concerned, subj�ct to the retention by the City of the area described in this Section and in Exhibit "A" as an easement for public vehicular, pedestrian, and drainage uses. Section 3. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute a quit claim deed conveying to owners of contiguous property the City's right, title and interest in the public street right-of-way property described in Section "2" and Exhibit "A", which area shall continue to be encumbered with an easement for public vehicular, pedestrian, utility, and drainage uses. Section 4. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, provision or � word of this ordinance shall be judged invalid or unconstitutional, such judgements shall `"!_�.,.,, Section 5.
