day of February, 1996 established a designated area as Reinvestment Zone IVo. One
pursuant to Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code; and
WHEREAS, after all surveys had been completed there was a conclusion and
finding that the designated area should be reduced.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
'�"" GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
'� Section 1. That all matters in the preamble are found to be true and correct and are
incorporated herein for all purposes.
Section 2. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 96-07 is hereby amended and the
designated area for Reinvestment Zone Number One is reduced in accordance with the
Texas Tax Code Section 311.007 by amending both Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" to reflect
a reduced area for Reinvestment Zone No. One. Both Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" are
hereby amended and approved to reflect a reduced area.

unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares
it would have passed such remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity, C�
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. �

Section 4. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of the City of c�
Grapevine, Texas are inadequate to properly safeguard the public health, safety, morals, �
"�"� peace and general welfare of the public creates an emergency which requires that this �p
ordinance become effective from and after the date of its passage, and it is accordingly o
so ordained. �
