TO: SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS
FROM: ALBERT L. TRIPLETT, JR, PLANNER II
DATE: FEBRUARY 28, 2007
SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST CU07-02; LOT 4, BLOCK 1, DFW
BUSINESS PARK ADDITION
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Site Plan Review Committee consider the proposed changes to
Conditional Use Request CU95-34 (Ord. 96-09) approved at the February 20, 1996
meeting to allow the possession, storage and retail sales of off-premise consumption of
alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) and gasoline sales in conjunction with a
convenience store, specifically to revise the front elevations of the building, and take
any other action necessary.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Conditional Use Request CU95-34 was approved at the February 20, 1996 meeting
amending the previously approved site plan for RaceTrac by adding six gasoline fuel
dispensers. The original conditional use request which established the site plan for the
RaceTrac, including the beer and wine sales, was considered and approved by Council
at the October 18, 1994 meeting (CU94-28).
With this request the applicant proposes to remodel the front exterior elevation by
changing the location of the entry and adding an ATM and pass-through window.
Please see the attached plans.
