Motion: Morgan Second: Terry Ayes: Ross, Robertson, Harris, Luccioni, Assaad, Musar, Nichols and Buhr Nays: None Absent: Dana Gibson Approved: 8-0 A motion was made to approve the following new adopt -an -area agreement: o Families of Cannon Homestead — Foxfire Lane, both sides, from Lonesome Dove Rd to Lonesome Dove Ranch Motion: Mark Second: Roy Ayes: Ross, Robertson, Harris, Luccioni, Assaad, Musar, Nichols and Buhr Nays: None Absent: Dana Gibson Approved: 8-0 PARD Information Items: Kevin Mitchell gave an update on the Departments Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) accreditation submission. Mr. Mitchell stated the department has completed the final interview and we missed two out of the 151 standards and the interview team will be recommending that the department receive the accreditation. Mr. Mitchell gave a timeline of events on the COVID-19 epidemic and how it impacted the Parks and Recreation Department. Miscellaneous Board Items: • GCISD Report — Doug Noelle reported on GCISD response to COVID-19. It hit the school the week after spring break. The district started virtual classes and served lunches on a daily basis. • The district was excited that we were able to have four "in-person" graduations at the Mustang/Panther stadium. • Staff is preparing for classes in the fall. • GHS Report — Lina Grace Assaad reported that with the COVID outbreak nothing has been going on.
