A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, CONCURRING IN THE STATE'S
INTENTION TO REMOVE BUSINESS 114 L FROM THE
STATE SYSTEM AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has constructed and maintained Business 114 L
(Northwest Highway) as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has determined that said Business 114 L is no
longer needed for the operation of the state highway system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has requested that the State remove said
roadway from the State System; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has committed to assume the maintenance
responsibilities of said roadway.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the State's Business 114 L shown on the attached Exhibit "A"
is no longer needed for use in the operation of the State System.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas concurs in the
State's plan to remove the roadway from the State System in accordance with the
established laws and regulations of the State of Texas.
Section 3. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas commits to
assume jurisdiction, operation and maintenance responsibilities for the roadway
segment.
Section 4. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas requests that
the State transfer its property interest, in the subject right of way for Business 114 L, to
the City. The City's consideration for the transfer of property interest will be the State's
estimated future maintenance costs.
Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of November 2012.

BEING all that tract of land designated as State Highway Business 114L, in the City of
Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas known as West Northwest Highway and East Northwest
Highway, between State Highway No. 114 and Ruth Wall Road/State Highway No. 26 and
being between Station 480+54.61 and Station 592+19.51 as shown on the attached map of
State of Texas Right-of-Way Project No. CSJ 0353-03-088
NOTE: This includes the original dedication whereby right-of-way was conveyed to Tarrant
County, Texas and includes parts of those tracts of land described in Volume 1096, Page 450;
Volume 1107, Page 274; and all of those tracts of land described in Volume 1096, Page 446;
Volume 1096, Page 443; Volume 1096, Page 458; Volume 1096, Page 511; Volume 1096,
Page 525; Volume 1096, Page 445; Volume 1096, Page 544, Volume 1096, Page 449;
Volume 1096, Page 441; Volume 1096, Page 462; Volume 1080, Page 537; Volume 1096,

This also includes portions of a widening project (BUS 114L CSJ 0353-07-012) whereby right-
of-way was conveyed to the State of Texas and includes all of those tracts of land described in

12747, Page 296; Volume 12659, Page 369; Volume 12770, Page 68; Volume 12795, Page
